Zeynep (she/her), from Istanbul, brings her expertise as a UK-based lighting designer, technical director, and production manager, showcasing her work both in the UK and across the globe. Her career includes serving as the Touring Production Manager for Sadler’s Wells Productions and later taking on the role of Technical Manager for Sadler’s Wells Theatre. In her most recent position, she led the technical team as the Head of Production and Technical at Battersea Arts Centre.

Fueled by her passion for art, architecture, and the interplay of bodies in spaces, Zeynep’s approach to lighting design is characterised by a constant exploration of geography and belonging.

In July 2022, Zeynep brought her wealth of experience to AKC, assuming the role of Technical Director.
