Sumanasa Foundation is a non-profit organisation established in 2005 with the objective of engaging with the arts and the community. Over the past 15 years, the foundation has designed and developed several innovative engagement models and initiatives, for artists and audiences from diverse communities to come together to experience and engage with, the arts.

The foundation specifically supports artists from marginalised communities creating opportunities for them to perform in mainstream venues. The foundation also supports talented young individuals from rural, underdeveloped areas by providing them financial support to continue learning art.

Through arts education and appreciation programmes, arts festivals, capacity building initiatives for marginalised artists and formal platforms for social dialogue, Sumanasa foundation fosters culturally vibrant communities across the state of Tamil Nadu, India.
