Emma’s (she/her) journey into dance began at an early age through ballet classes which sparked a passion for the arts. This enthusiasm led her to pursue a degree in Dance at Liverpool John Moores University, where she graduated with First Class BA Hons in 2017. Driven by a curiosity for the theoretical aspects of dance, Emma continued her academic journey with a Master’s degree in Arts Policy and Management at Birkbeck, University of London.

Post-education, Emma transitioned into the legal sector acting as a legal assistant and acquiring a valuable insight into office administration.

Emma joined AKC in 2022 and in her evolving role is currently serving as Office and Legacy Manager. Through this role she is able to combine her administrative skills with a dedication to fostering engagement through AKC’s varied Legacy projects.
