Chotto Xenos Resource Pack | preview

There are many resources available to support the teaching of Chotto Xenos in schools. The activities in this pack use classroom-based activities and creative dance lessons to explore the experience of WW1 from the point of view of a soldier from a colonised nation. The content is a mixture of classroom and dance-based lesson ideas which range from introducing the historical context of soldiers from colonised nations to exploring the emotional impact of being at war. This pack was designed for KS2, but in practice, we have found that it is also suited to older age ranges given the complexity of the subject matter.
