Bhuvana Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded in the year 2007 in Coimbatore, India. The Foundation was incorporated with the vision of nurturing tribal children in rural areas in South India, to become self-confident, motivated, knowledgeable and emotionally stable adults who will be the leaders and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. The Foundation focuses on providing comprehensive education and vocational training to the underprivileged and marginalised sections of the society.
The foundation also creates a series of community-based art interventions with the objective of developing lifeskills for children, building appreciation for the arts and providing support for the local artists in the region. Every year Bhuvana Foundation also hosts a cultural festival that showcases performing art forms from across India specifically for students. Each year, over 1000 from the region participate in this festival.
