Kimberly Yap earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dance, specialising in Bharatanatyam, from the National Academy of Arts Culture and Heritage (ASWARA) in Malaysia. She completed her Arangetram under the Temple of Fine Arts Kuala Lumpur in 2017. Kimberly has showcased her talents at prestigious events such as WE Dance in the West Kowloon Cultural District, Hong Kong, and the Asia Pacific Dance Festival 2019 in Hawaii. She has performed in Ask Dance Company’s productions, including Becoming King, 3 Faces, Menempa Tari Tradisi, and Menyemai Seni, Menjunjung Langit, both in Malaysia and abroad. Her international performances include appearances at Bhaskareeyam 2022 in Singapore, INTERFACE 2022 in Kolkata, the International Khajuraho Dance Festival 2023, and the Gwangju Fringe Festival 2023 in South Korea. Kimberly currently serves as a dedicated dancer with Ask Dance Company in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
